Reviews Nature's Way Umcka Cold and Flu Chewable Berry

I get a lot of colds. I dono why...maybe my immune system sucks? I usually get 4-5 colds a year. This year was particularly bad for some reason. I love Nature's Way Umcka Cold and Flu and swear by it. Anytime I start feeling sick I grab it and start taking it.

I get sick a lot, but since I started taking Nature's Way Umcka Cold and Flu I haven't had any colds or flu episodes that have lasted more than a couple of days and I used to get really sick and stay sick for about 7-10 days at a time. I highly recommend the product - just check with your doctor to make sure there won't be any interactions with any medications you take. Great over the counter natural treatment.

Not gonna lie: When I first read the reviews on this product, I was extremely skeptical. I first tried it (out of desperation) around May with a flu, but I was already a few days in...so it didn't really work.
Natural Relief for Aches Pains, Congestion, Cough, Fever, Runny Nose, Sore Throat. Umcka is made from the roots of Pelargonium sidoides a South African plant used in traditional Zulu medicine to treat coughs and respiratory ailments. Unlike other remedies that simply mask symptoms Umcka speeds recovery time. Alpha CF ( Aconitum napellus 4X Bryonia alba 4X Eucalyptus globulus 2X Eupatorium perfoliatum 2X Gelsemium sempervirens 4X Ipecacuanha 3X and Phosphorus 6X ) provides mult-symptom relief of colds and flu.

I gave it another shot September because it was heavily discounted due to being a month from expiring. It was the day I was feeling cold symptoms, and it went away the day after! I felt weirdly amazing after taking it, too. Like a rush of energy rushing down the spine. Its only temporary, but kind of cool. I do sweat more after taking this stuff, so it does seem to stimulate the immune system.

Next time, I must of got that bad strain of flu that's been going around. Felt a cold around Thanksgiving time. Took Umcka, and it was gone the next day. Then it reoccured 2 weeks later (I've never had a cold-flu come back, so its one aggressive bugger!), and immediately took Umcka.

Wasn't just a cold. Got fever at 104, severe headaches and chills, and lots of nasal fluid. Again, gone in 2 days! Unfortunately, I also had an unrelated ear infection, so I was dripping lots a fluid from my nose, and coughing bricks. But nothing Umcka can do about that, really. It stopped the flu itself, so that's what counts.

If you take this Nature's Way Umcka Cold and Flu the day you feel ANYTHING, it will work. It's similar to Tamiflu, and a lot cheaper ($95 vs 10...) and more effective. Take it a few days in, and you might as well be buying DayQuil, since its effectiveness will be gone.
